  1. Position Title:  Intern – Administrative Assistant
  2. Field: Business Administration
  3. Duration of Training Program: 3-12 months
  4. Training Goals and Objectives:

The Intern will participate in a 3-12-month training program in order to gain knowledge, skills and competence in the field of Business Administration. The training will also include working with multiple lines of business within the organization including Education, Languages, Cultural Exchange, Human Resources, Web Publishing and Import/Export.

  1. Primary Objectives:
    1. Broaden knowledge of Business Administration
    2. Enhance office and project management skills
    3. Obtain competence with information technology
  1. Secondary Objectives:
    1. Experience working in diverse international teams
    2. Practice English communication abilities
    3. Enhance entrepreneurial and leadership capabilities
  2. Training Plan Schedule:

Phase One: Orientation; Duration: 1 month
Intern will be introduced to the local and remote work environment; office operations and procedures; and their colleagues and supervisor. The trainee will receive an overview of the company and training program, facilities and local area as well as initial assignments to gain knowledge in Business Administration.

Interns will work closely with our internal and external resources to perform these tasks:

  • Arrange action plans and facilitate team activities
  • Deal with telephone and email enquiries
  • Update appointment schedule and for maintaining shared calendar
  • Arrange meetings, taking minutes and keeping notes

Phase Two: General Training in Business Administration; Duration: 2 months

Intern will receive additional assignments and responsibilities to acquire a broader knowledge of Business Administration.

Interns/Trainees will work closely with our internal and external resources to perform these tasks:

  • Arrange action plans and facilitate team activities
  • Deal with telephone and email enquiries
  • Update appointment schedule and for maintaining shared calendar
  • Arrange meetings, taking minutes and keeping notes
  • Produce and maintain correspondence, documents, presentations, spreadsheets and databases
  • Organize and storing paperwork, documents and computer-based information
  • Arrange both in-house and external events

Phase Three: Advanced Training in Business Administration; Duration: 9 months

Intern will receive additional assignments and responsibilities to acquire a broader knowledge of Business Administration.

Interns trainee will work closely with our internal and external resources to perform these tasks:

  • Arrange action plans and facilitate team activities
  • Deal with telephone and email enquiries
  • Update appointment schedule and for maintaining shared calendar
  • Arrange meetings, taking minutes and keeping notes
  • Produce and maintain correspondence, documents, presentations, spreadsheets and databases
  • Organize and storing paperwork, documents and computer-based information
  • Arrange both in-house and external events
  • Maintain and update websites and internal databases
  • Invoice and looking after budgets
  • Order and maintaining office equipment and supplies
  • Arrange travel and accommodations
  • Recruit and training junior staff, and delegating work as required

Methods of Training:

The primary training method will be “on-the-job” training, as we believe it is the most effective means of gaining the practical experience and professional skills to be utilized in the intern future. We combine shadowing, Team Projects, One-on-one coaching as well as Independent study. Additional training methods include off-site visits, seminars and workshops.

Supervision and Evaluation

The trainee will be supervised by the training staff and will be required to submit reports of activities. Throughout the training program, the trainee will be evaluated on their work, communication skills, and interaction with staff.
